Bio and Interests
For my thesis, I'm studying the cross-shelf exchange caused by eddies (Gulf Stream Warm Core Rings) translating near a shelfbreak (off New England). I am doing this by running idealized process study oriented numerical simulations using ROMS. Ultimately, the results of this research should help quantify the importance of these exchanges in property budgets of the Mid Atlantic Bight.
