The graduate programs with which PAOC is associated correspond to the Atmospheres, Oceans and Climate research programs within MIT's Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences Department (EAPS). EAPS also participates in the Joint Program with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. The majority of EAPS graduate students are in our Doctoral Program. Admission is highly competitive.

The undergraduate program in PAOC leads to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences; PAOC offers a major and minor program in Atmospheres, Oceans and Climate.
